The Howling: Reborn (2011)
On the eve of his high school graduation, unremarkable Will Kidman finally bonds with the girl he has long yearned for, reclusive Eliana Wynter. But he also discovers a dark secret from his past… that he is about to become a werewolf. Now, in an effort to fight destiny and save their love as well as their lives, they must battle not only Will’s growing blood lust but an army of fearsome beasts bent on killing them… and then, us all.
Continuing the saga of beastly encounters…
The Howling (1981) - A fuckin’ classic!
Howling II: … Your Sister Is a Werewolf (1985)
Howling III (1987)
Howling IV: The Original Nightmare (1988)
Howling V: The Rebirth (1989)
Howling VI: The Freaks (1991)
Howling: New Moon Rising (1995)Part 8! A rebirth possibly influenced by the sudden burst of recent horror/romantic teen flicks. Angst & puberty with “Gossip Boy” narration by our oh so
cursedgifted leading student, who’s after the too hot to handle high school cutie.Awaken the beast! via drug party scene!!! Sick trip man… Slow-mo and burr effects… typical… the special effects were nothing special. It’s not like we all didn’t see this coming (It was either a “bad” or a “so bad it’s good” coin toss).
I’ll admit there were a few ok city shots (stock footage?). THISt obviously falls in the “straight to video” category.
Oh mom! the cast was err… The school boy gets powers revenge and deals with the consequences… girl in trouble… love… douchebaggy male model goons… hardly any violent scenes… queen bee… they run away, but wait… they eventually fight…
And then the elevator life saving moment… oh boy. Ridiculous, this blew the roof of fantasy to the stratosphere (i laughed out loud). Love is a comedy. That’s it, i’ve had enough… started my review…
“I know it’s hard to swallow” - No fuckin’ shit Sherlock. This wolfpack bombed.
From the makers of Qwikster, another new, completely necessary Netflix service.
